This policy covers our Android apps and this website.
Tasks does not collect any personal data. Everything you create in Tasks, including your notes, lists and settings, is stored only on your device. Tasks doesn't connect to the internet and doesn't send anything to us or to anyone else.
Backup. Tasks supports Android's built-in app backup, which is turned on by default. If backup is also turned on in your phone's settings, Android may back up your notes and settings to your Google account. That backup is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We can't see it. You can turn backup off at any time in Tasks under Settings.
Deleting your data. Uninstalling Tasks removes everything it stored on your device. Backups saved to your Google account can be managed in your Google account settings.
Like most websites, our web server automatically records basic information about each visit. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. We use these logs to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse. Logs are kept for 180 days and then deleted.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. It uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, your browser and device type, and your approximate location. We use this information only to improve the site. Google processes it under Google's Privacy Policy. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
To stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
This site shows ads served by Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
